MRS. GENEVIEVE ZENTMYER, 62, a native of Adams County, wife of Dr. Byers L. Zentmyer, died Monday at 1:15 p.m. at her home, 16 Eastland Circle, Waynesboro. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mrs. Zentmyer had been in failing health the past year.
She was born in Irishtown, a daughter of Mrs. Catherine Brady Lawrence, Irishtown, and the late John Lawrence. She had resided in Waynesboro 40 years and was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, her mother and a brother, Clyde Lawrence, Irishtown.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Poe Funeral Home, Waynesboro, with the Rev. Glenn L. Stahl officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
