Dogern, Waldshut, Baden, Germany c.1796
"Procession of the French from Swabia through Dogern in the Black Forest 1796"
The French were returning from a battle in Swabia, an area in southeastern Baden-Wuerttemberg, and Dogern is on the southern edge of the Black Forest. St. Clemens Catholic Church as shown still exists today.
